Some bloke called Mr Dawes apparently tried using my account details. Luckily, wasn’t an actual banking issue with HSBC, so I wasn’t really worried about it.

Got a text saying something about a payment tried with HSBC but we dont even use HSBC or have any of their credit cards so i just left it alone.

Received a message with a link about a payment try by someone called Mr Dawes. Didn’t click or reply but it made me uneasy, especially since I’d dealt with Philip and Cohen the previous day about my mum’s WER account. I’m usually super careful with my number, but I was worried enough to check it out, worried it was some kinda unpaid debt!
