On 26/1/2001 I got a text that was exactly like this (there wasn’t any full stop between Gov and UK) GOVUK: You have received £277.59 for a Covid-19 claim because of the new lockdown rules. To get it, click on https://conclude-claim-govuk.com. This is a total scam, watch out! If you respond, you’ll probably lose money!

This is definitely a scam, so avoid clicking on that link at all costs.

Someone sent me a couple of messages saying they were from Gov.uk, telling me to follow a link to get £277.59. Total rubbish scammers, the link looked dodgy, nothing like an official government site. I’ve already informed my phone company about that number.
