Got a text claiming to be from the British Government about cutting the winter heating subsidy because of money problems this year. It said they were offering some kind of living allowance instead to help with heating costs. Then it asked me to fill out a form through a link to update my info since the application was supposedly reopened. There was a link starting with HTTPS, and it ended with a thank you for supporting the government. I didn’t click on anything or respond, just thought it looked dodgy.
