Got a message claiming it was a FINAL NOTICE from DVLA, saying they’d been trying to reach me and asking me to follow a link. The link seemed pretty genuine at first glance. Thing is, I’m not actually on any registered vehicle owner list. I do hold a driving licence, no points on it, and only renewed my photo licence last year. So, I couldn’t figure why they’d be trying to get in touch. Felt really suspicious, so I definitely didn’t click the link or ring the number to check it out.

I didn’t get a call but ended up with a text pretending to be from the DVLA about a “final request”. They wanted me to tap a link and probably put in my private info like ID and bank stuff to get some supposed refund. It’s a complete con and you’d end up losing a fair bit if you take the bait.
