Got this call from someone saying they were with Amazon. They already had my name and said someone tried buying an iPhone 15 to be sent to California, and that it was “on hold.” They offered to cancel it for me, which I said yes to. Then they said they’d send me a code from Amazon to confirm it. I messaged them back with a wrong code on purpose. When I told them it’s fine if they couldn’t sort it and I’d handle it myself online, the call just got cut off. Definitely felt like a scam.
