Got a ring from a woman with an Indian accent claiming to be from Amazon, saying I’d ordered an iPhone for £499 and asking if I wanted to go ahead with the payment. Totally a scam though - if those phones were really that cheap I’d snap up loads and resell them, since they normally cost over £1000. These call centres from India are the worst, I get bombarded with calls like this all the time and it winds me up so much. It’s awful that older folks get tricked by this nonsense. Honestly, they should be put behind bars for scamming people like that.
