Got a call from someone claiming to be my bank, saying there was a big charge on my visa debit. When I asked them which bank they were from, they wouldn’t say and just ended the call after I told them they sounded like scammers.

I received a dodgy call purporting that a hefty transaction had occurred on my Visa debit card, and they insisted on verifying the details. When I pressed them for the name of their bank, they refused to disclose it. How very telling! They abruptly ended the call after I labelled them as a scam. Quite the shady tactics!
