I got a call from a number beginning with 079, but I’ve already blocked all numbers starting like that cause I don’t recognise anyone with those prefixes. If your phone has a call blocking feature, try putting 079 in the blocked codes list. Loads of these calls appear to be from scammers pretending to be banks, HMRC, or Amazon. Also, numbers starting with 003, 004, 011, 012, 013, 014, 015, 016, 0177, 018, 019, 020, 028, 033, 073, 074, 075, 077, 078, 079 look to be mostly dodgy too. Better safe than sorry!
