Got a call today around 11:40 from a woman or maybe a bot saying she was with the security team at some bank. She mentioned a £125 charge on my card for train travel from Edinburgh to London earlier today, which they thought looked fishy (spot on, as I’ve never bought tickets like that before). They told me to press 1 if I wanted to cancel the transaction or 2 to talk to the security people. Seems like a tweak on the common Edinburgh to London train ticket scam - only now it’s £5 more expensive than usual!
