So I got a call claiming they were from Amazon about some iPhone order on my account that supposedly needed urgent stopping, like right away. I told them to just send an email to the address on my Amazon profile to prove they were legit. They started saying they didn’t have time for that and if I wanted it cancelled to just say so. I told them they should have time, they’ve handled stuff this way in the past, and if they really were Amazon, they’d verify first. Of course, they just hung up on me. My Amazon account is still perfectly fine, so I’m pretty sure it was a scam.
