I usually ignore calls from unknown numbers but since I was waiting for an important call, I picked this one up by mistake. Turned out to be a scammer from an Indian call centre. They said they were from Virgin Media and that there was a big internet outage where I live. I told them I don’t even have Virgin but they insisted Virgin now owns Sky, BT, and several others. Total nonsense. These lot just try to hack into your computer and steal cash. I’ve blocked the number straight away.
