They only dialled briefly, hanging up before I even stood from my chair. I get calls like this from different scammers almost daily. I block one number and then a very similar one rings the next day. It’d be so much better for everyone if we could just stop these calls completely.

Got a call from someone saying they were with BT internet, claiming there was suspicious activity on our account involving fraud or money laundering. The guy had an Indian accent and said he could help fix it. I told him to email me or call back later so I could talk to my partner, who’s a Police Inspector. Right after that, the call just cut off!
