Had a call from “bank security” this morning saying someone had used my card for £700 and £800 purchases. The recorded message was playing while I was on the phone, but c’mon, anyone with online banking is gonna check their account and see straight away it’s a load of rubbish. My biggest worry is for those without online access - they might fall for these dodgy scams and lose a lot more. Such a daft way to try and trick people.
