Never had this happen before - I picked up a call where some recorded voice claimed to be from the National Crime Agency. They told me my National Insurance number was going to be suspended because of some illegal activity, and if I didn’t cooperate, I'd supposedly face arrest. Thing is, there’s no way the NCA would be phoning from a mobile number like that. Just a heads up, if a call feels dodgy or sounds like a scam, it probably is one. Don’t press 1 if you get a call from this number!
