Just received a message from 07904-697-023 about paying vehicle tax, which is odd since I don’t have a car at all. Bit suspicious if you ask me.

I got a message from this number saying I need to "renew my car tax straight away" with a link included. It looked quite dodgy to me since I’ve just sorted my car tax payment and the wording was really strange. Plus, they wrote GOV UK instead of gov.uk which made it even more suspicious. Here’s what the message said: GOV UK: Hello! Your direct debit for Vehicle Tax requires to be updated. Please immediately visit https://govuk-vehicletax[###] to update.
