I received a phone call on my work telephone today from a life insurance firm, and I must admit, I spun a bit of a yarn regarding my health. They escalated the call to a supervisor after I raised some concerns about how they had my information. When I pressed him about the source of my details, he claimed it was from a survey I had supposedly completed. The thing is, I’ve never participated in any such survey! He then became quite aggressive and hung up on me. Quite the experience, I must say!

When I probed him about the loan's inception, he mention a year when I was still in my school days! Quite dodgy, if you ask me. Just as I was about to dig deeper, he abruptly ended the call. Very suspicious!

They rang me thrice before finally getting through, only to push some kind of life insurance scheme on me. When I mentioned I wasn’t keen on it, they insisted I hear them out and sounded quite irked by my disinterest. That’s when I decided to cut the conversation short and hang up.
