Got a call saying there was some suspicious activity on my debit card and they needed all my banking info right away. Obviously, I knew something was off and didn’t give them anything.

I usually don’t pick up calls from unknown numbers, but this time I rang back out of curiosity. Noticed quite a few folks had looked up this number recently, so figured it’s likely a sales call or some kind of scam to see if your line is active (they hang up as soon as you say something). The call came from abroad, you can tell from the strange dialling tone before it just disconnects. Honestly, best to steer clear of this one!
