My partner got a call from this number claiming to be from Amazon. They told him someone had allegedly tried to buy an iPhone through his Amazon account and said it seemed fishy. The caller then said if it wasn’t him making the purchase and he wanted to cancel, they'd need some details from him to stop the order. Feeling uneasy, my partner cut the call straight away, thinking it was a scam. Afterwards, he checked his Amazon account and didn’t find any pending orders, then changed his password just to be safe. The whole thing definitely didn’t sit right with him.
