So, I got this random call out of the blue saying there’s some problem with my bitcoin account and they wanted to move my funds for “security reasons.” Apparently, I have £350,000 in there or something like that. Then they asked which bank I want the money sent to. Thing is, I’ve never had any bitcoin account in my life! I told the person on the phone that I don’t trust banks and asked if they could just send the cash by post instead, and I’d sort it into my offshore account myself. Then they just cut me off - proper cheek, honestly!
