Got two calls today, first one was a recorded message saying it was from Visa fraud team, telling me there was a £799 charge on Amazon using my card. They kept asking me to 'press 1' if I didn’t make it. Problem is, I always get a text alert from my card company whenever my card is used, and I had nothing this time, so I knew it was a load of rubbish. Ended the call pretty quickly. Seems like these scammers are getting smarter and using the right currency for UK victims now. Both numbers have been blocked and flagged from my phone.
