10 yearsI received a phone call from this number and a woman identified herself as Lola Anna Lawson, residing at 25 Thirlestane Road, Edinburgh, EH9 1AL. Her email was [email protected]. Be wary, as this appears to be a scam! She mentioned she had travelled to Lagos, Nigeria, for her mother's funeral and was allegedly robbed by some relatives right after. Following this, she solicited funds to cover her flight back to the UK, then proceeded to ask for more money for hotel expenses, and eventually claimed she needed additional cash to secure her mother's urn for transport back home. The money was to be sent via Moneygram. She guarantees to repay the money, claiming she owns a beauty business in Edinburgh. However, once she receives the funds, communication goes silent. The phone just rings endlessly, requesting that you leave a message.
