Got a dodgy text pretending to be from HSBC about some K Adams payee confirmation. Looks like a straight up scam to me.

Got a message claiming to be from HSBC about a payment request from some Mrs K Adams. It said if I didn’t make that request, click a link to sort it out. Obviously, I didn’t click anything since I’m not even a HSBC customer. Blocked the number straight away - total scam!

Got a message claiming there was some issue with a bank account that isn’t even mine. They urged me to click a link and submit my info, but it just felt like a scam to me.

Got a text from 07903 647834 saying someone added a new payee to my HSBC account and to tap a link to approve or deny it. Problem is, I dont even have an account there and never did. Just gone ahead and blocked the number right away.
