I received a message claiming I had scheduled an appointment at Abbey surgery, which is quite a distance from where I live. It had the proper phone number for the practice but wanted me to confirm my attendance via text. I chose to disregard it and deleted it straight away.

I recently received a text reminding me about an appointment scheduled for 15:20 on Wednesday, 3rd May at The Abbey Practice. First off, I’m pretty sure the number they provided is legitimate, but there's a catch-this surgery is located miles away from where I am, and I’m most definitely not on their patient list! I simply ignored it and hit delete. Honestly, if you’re unsure about a sender, it’s best to steer clear of their messages!
