07903593228 Summary (Read all comments)

Phone number ☎️ 07903593228 👆 is reported as a sporadically trustworthy number mostly linked to GP surgeries in the Bristol and South Glos area, often sending appointment confirmations and vaccine invites. However, many users flag it as a scam due to unsolicited texts using full names, middle initials, wrong appointment claims and suspicious links to supposed Covid-19 info sites. Communication style is sometimes poorly written, causing doubts over legitimacy. Some genuine messages have been confirmed by actual GP practices, but scammy calls, repeated ring-and-hang-ups, and phishing attempts have been frequently reported. The number is associated with both useful NHS reminders and misleading texts, spawning confusion and caution among recipients. Overall, experiences vary from helpful to harassment, with an ongoing issue distinguishing authentic from fraudulent messages.

Apparently their phone lines are messed up due to a power surge after a blackout. They told me if I had any questions to go to reception. Oddly, they already knew the name of my Family Practice.

Got a text addressed to me using my full name about booking an appointment at a doctor’s surgery, but it didn’t say which surgery it was for. It also asked me to fill out a survey. Bit odd if you ask me.

Got a text saying there's major staffing problems for the week starting 29th May, so they can't do many routine appointments. Said to call next week to book for the week of 5th June. No idea who it was from, didn’t say NHS or GP or anything. Pretty sure it’s a scam since it doesn’t relate to me at all.

Got this message saying there’s a big shortage of staff during the week starting 29th May, so they can’t do many regular appointments. They asked if you need one or a follow up, to call them next week to arrange something for the week beginning 5th June. They also said sorry for any hassle this might cause.

I received a message that reads: “Regrettably, we’re experiencing considerable staffing shortages during the week starting 29th May, which means we can’t provide a lot of routine appointments. If you need a regular appointment or a follow-up, kindly get in touch with us next week to arrange something for the week beginning 5th June. We appreciate your understanding and sincerely apologise for any disruption this may cause.” It doesn’t seem like it’s from my GP or the hospital, as I have other chat threads with them that look quite different.

I got a voicemail about an appointment supposedly at 168 Medical Group, but I never booked anything. When I rang the surgery to check, they told me there was no appointment in my name. Took ages to get through though, about 20 minutes, and the call cost quite a bit. The number that called me was +447903593228 on 6/4/22 and then again today, 7/4/22.

Got a text from 0790 359 3228 saying my appointment (name mentioned) is booked for Mon, 1st Feb at 09:55 at Bradley Stoke Surgery. They told me to reply CANCEL if I can’t make it. Also, they said to wear a mask and wait in the car park until they call me in. Honestly, the message was full of daft mistakes like spacing and spelling errors! Makes you wonder if these clueless folks will ever learn, mature, or if the tech systems might just block them for good soon. Frustrating!

I've gotten about 3 texts lately saying they're from my doctor's surgery. I'm fairly new to the surgery, and the only time I shared my GP's name was when I put it in on the NHS site to book my Covid jab. Feels like the NHS must've accidentally spilled all our info, since loads of people are getting messages from their so-called 'GPs' now.

Just wanted to clear something up - we’ve been texting lots of our patients at Wellington Road Family Practice about getting their covid jab. Please go ahead and reply to the message as it asks. Cheers, Helen Tillman, Practice Manager.
