I've had quite a few messages asking me to get in touch with this number. Looks like the calls come from The Alice Medical Centre down in Westhoughton, Bolton, Lancs. The clinic is real and seems to be trying to drum up business (you know, Winter jabs and Covid shots). If you’re not sure, give us a ring. If you don’t need the appointment anymore, just reply CANCEL. If you’re coming to the surgery, please remember it's a legal requirement to wear a face mask. Received a message from this number that had my title and surname squashed together with no space (maybe just a glitch on their end). The text was asking me to join a survey about covid research to “help beat covid”. Keep in mind, actual legit research usually involves face-to-face checks, blood samples and stuff, so what use is a simple survey? Feels like spam to me.

Got a call and text from Bridgewater, they seem to work for medical centres and update you about hospital stuff or your GP way quicker than your actual doctor. Like for example with COVID-19 info. I think of them as a sort of third party really.
