I received a call from someone claiming to be from the bank, inquiring, "Could I know your name, please?" They went on about our bank account being overdrawn and mentioned it was the last day of the week, which seemed a bit off since they didn’t even recognise our name! Then, abruptly, they hung up on me. Afterward, I decided to ring back and left a voicemail. Almost immediately, I got a call back, and the person said there was no issue, as it turned out they’d actually dialled the wrong number!

I received a call from someone claiming to be from my bank, and she asked, “May I have your name, please?” She proceeded to inform me that my bank account had been overdrawn for a month. A bit suspicious, I asked which bank she was representing and why she didn't seem to recognise my name. At that point, she abruptly hung up on me. I decided to call back and left a message, only for her to ring me back almost immediately. She then explained there was a mix-up and that she had contacted the wrong person. Quite the kerfuffle, if you ask me!

So, this caller claimed to be from the bank and started off with, "Who am I speaking with, if you don’t mind?" They then mentioned that our account was overdrawn, which has apparently been the case for a month! Naturally, we asked which bank they were representing and why they didn’t know us. Suddenly, the line went dead on us. We attempted to call back and left a message, and wouldn’t you know it, they returned our call just moments later, saying there had been a mix-up and they’d contacted the wrong person. Quite the debacle, if you ask me!
