I reckon this number might be part of some dodgy scam or maybe a glitch on EE's side. The number 07903553650 is definitely linked to EE. I was abroad and when I got back, I found I’d been hit with loads of SMS charges linked to that number, even though I don’t usually send texts. Tried ringing EE, but their customer service wouldn’t give me any proper help. Sorted through that mess took me about an hour and a half, which was a complete waste of my time. In the end, I had to switch to Vodafone since I wasn’t tied to a contract.

Heads up! I ended up being billed 82p for six texts I never sent. It was a pain, but I had to get in touch with my mobile provider to sort it all out.

Just rang Plusnet, it turned out to be EE helping with iMessage and FaceTime setup on iPhones, no problems, all legit and safe.

I keep getting loads of texts saying they’re from UBER asking me to ring this number. There’s no way to double check if it’s really them, so I just blocked it.

Had pretty much the same thing others have mentioned here. I just got a prepaid Plusnet mobile line (running on EE network) and noticed on my bill that an SMS was sent to this strange number 44-7903553650 right after I set it up, without me knowing anything about it. Now I’m trying to work out if there’s any way to see what that message said. Hoping it’s just some routine SIM activation text, not identity theft or anything dodgy. Still, it wasn’t in my contract and I shouldn’t really be paying for it.

Like loads of folks have mentioned before, it seems TMobile are charging for a text when you change SIM cards while overseas. I didn’t make any calls or send any texts though. This definitely should be looked into with T-Mobile.

Hey everyone, this number popped up on my Utility Warehouse statement today. It shows like 10 supposed texts on 30th Sept and another 5 on 3rd Oct when I was actually in Canada. It also appeared twice when I was back in the UK but no charge for those! Tried calling it, just says temporarily out of service, bit fishy if you ask me. Watch out!

Got 5 texts over three days and nights last September when I was in Canada and Alaska, all showing up on my Utility Warehouse bill, but I never sent any cos there was no signal. Spoke with Utility and they said they’ll refund the charges.
