Got a message from HALIFAX saying I’d set up a new device for mobile banking on 19/10 at 10pm. The text told me to check a link if it wasn’t me. It struck me as dodgy though, because it doesn’t match what Halifax says about security on their site. I’d say don’t reply if this pops up on your phone.

Got a message saying a new phone was linked to my Halifax mobile banking on 19/10 at 10pm. I never set this up, so I’m pretty sure it’s a scam. The message told me to check a link that didn’t look quite right. I’ve sent it over to what seems to be Halifax’s security email listed on their official site to report it. Just thought I’d warn others to be careful!
