This is 100% a scam. They keep sending texts using the same line like “Dad, my phone's busted, I’m using a spare, can you buy this phone from my mate?” or something similar. Best thing to do is report it to the police fraud team. Just block and don’t reply!

Got a message from someone saying "Dad, I smashed my phone" and then after a few texts, they were asking me to send £450 for some iPhone 13 or something. Definitely a scammer.
