got a text from someone claiming to be my oldest, said they were busy or something, but my kids wouldn't just say that. seems like a scam to me, so I’ve just deleted it.

I got a call from someone claiming to be my kid saying they’d swapped their SIM card. I played along just to mess about and figure out what their game was. After a couple of friendly messages, they suddenly started talking about trouble with their online banking and asked if I could send some money for them. Proper nonsense. I’ve reported the number to several sites now, fingers crossed no one falls for it.
