Honestly, I’d advise steering clear of talking to these people. I got a call from someone named Alex who said there were some dodgy transactions on my debit card. He claimed he’d link me through to Lloyds Bank and put a hold on my card, asking loads of questions about payments I’d made in the past couple of days. It dragged on for ages, but something just didn’t sit right. So I checked my account balance and nope, no unauthorised payments at all.
