I keep getting texts like this from different numbers: "Your bank alert: £800 spent on Amazon and £500 with some overseas transfer firm. If you didn't authorise this, hit 1 to talk to an advisor..." They never say which bank it’s supposedly from. The call always comes from a mobile number and the voice on the other end never changes. Plus the amounts are always clean, round sums, which seems fishy to me.
