Got a text claiming to be from O2 about my account info. It looked quite real but was actually a fake because O2 always sends messages from the word "O2," not from a number. I’ve reported it straight away to O2.

Got a text from this number claiming to be O2, saying my payment info was wrong and needed updating with a link to click on. Problem is, I don’t even have an O2 account! Plus, they sent it to my work phone - big no-no since I work for Openreach. I’ve already flagged it to BT security as smishing and they’re dealing with it now. Definitely a dodgy scam, so watch out!
