I picked up the call, but there was absolutely no one on the other end.

They called pretending to be from Vodafone, trying to lure me in with a phone upgrade. But I wasn't about to bite the bait-definitely felt like a dodgy scheme to me! I’m absolutely convinced it was just a scam.
