Totally trying to rip you off - I answered and the bloke said "Your National Security number's been hacked." I just hung up straight away. No way they'd call on a mobile like that if it was legit! It’s super dodgy - I’m an ex-copper and dealt with loads of fraud victims over the years. Definately put this number on your block list if it rings you.

07522 978389 gave me a call today and right away it felt dodgy. When I answered, the person said something about my National Security number being at risk. I just ended the call straight away. If this was legit, they wouldn’t be calling from a mobile like that, no way. Having worked in the police before, I’ve dealt with loads of fraud cases, and this smelt like a scam from the start. Honestly, don’t bother answering - just block it if it rings you!
