4 yearsGot a robocall claiming I just paid £900 and to press one to stop it. Its defo some banking scam or trying to get you to call a premium rate number. Don’t press anything - you’ll just be trapped in the loop. Made sure to report it to gov.org/phishing and the police’s phishing page, plus the financial watchdog. Hopefully, if enough people complain, those crooks will get cracked down on and stop taking advantage of folks who aren’t as careful.Financial Conduct Authority4 yearsI received an automated call claiming that £900 has been deducted from my account. The message advised pressing one if I wanted to cancel the payment; however, I reckon this is a classic banking scam or a ploy to send you to an expensive premium phone line. Whatever you do, don’t press that button-it's just a loop feeding you the same nonsense. I strongly recommend reporting this to gov.org/phishing, as well as informing the police through their phishing website, and don't forget the Financial Conduct Authority. Perhaps, if enough of us raise our voices, the authorities will finally take action against these deceitful scoundrels who prey on the unsuspecting and vulnerable among us.Financial Conduct Authority4 yearsJust got a call from 07900958517, sounded like they were talking about my bank account.
