I didnt pick up, looked it up here and now ive blocked the number.

Total con artists, had to block the number asap.

Complete con job, pretending to be from some PPI compensation claim, telling me I was owed £2550 plus £1550 in interest from my bank. When they asked for my bank’s name, I made up “Paris Bank” (which isn’t real), and they didn’t seem to spot it. They gave me a reference number and an ID, claiming they never ask for card or bank details, and said the money was in a wallet? Then I got passed on to another guy with an accent, who asked for those ref and ID numbers. I gave him fake ones and carried on from there...

Had this dodgy call where they wanted me to download some app to hack my phone. Seriously close to getting caught out but ended up just hanging up.
