I'm a bit unsure if this was some kinda scam or not. I was trying to sell a table on Gumtree and this person, without even seeing it, wanted it delivered but expected me to cover the cost. They said they’d organise a courier. They asked for my address straight away, long before sorting out when they’d pick it up. Got a WhatsApp from them just after midnight. Then early the next day, they messaged saying the courier would get in touch and asked for payment details. I told them I only accept cash on collection. Haven't heard back since.
