I picked up this number thinking it was a tradesman trying to get in touch. Normally, my app flags these calls as spam but this time it didn’t, so I answered. An automated message said something about a purchase on my Amazon account for a new iPhone, and that they'd stopped it until I spoke to a representative - then it asked me to press 1, but the call cut off. I’m really shaken as I usually ignore unknown numbers, but I was expecting a call from a workman who calls on his mobile. These scammers are horrible - I’m a sick pensioner, so please watch out, folks.
