Got a call from someone pretending to be from BT Openreach, said they were working at the nearby exchange. They went on about router lights, switching wifi channels, and how they could boost my internet speed while cutting downtime. Then they wanted me to log into my computer so they could get access. When I questioned them, they got really angry and started swearing. These dodgy callers kept ringing back again and again, trying to speak to other people in the house. Proper annoying!

Got a call from a man with a foreign accent pretending to be from BT OpenReach. He asked me about the lights on my router, then told me to, "Check your computer." I told him straight up he wasn’t with BT and was just trying to scam me. I ended the call right away.

They pretended to be from Openreach, complete scam! Just hung up straight away. Be careful, don’t fall for it.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with BT Outreach saying they’re working in my area. They were trying to trick me into pressing a key on my keyboard. Sounds like a bit of a scam to me!
