Got a call from a bloke claiming to be Harry in Leicester, babbling on about his phone being hacked and something confusing about a card number. Hard to catch what he was saying, sounded like he was on a noisy bus or summat.

I chose not to pick up this call as the number felt dodgy. Checked it online afterwards and noticed it’s linked to some weird sounds from before. Just a heads up to be careful!

Got a call from this number earlier today around 2:20pm. A robot bloke’s voice claiming to be from BT, telling me my phone line was involved in some "illegaal activity" and it would get cut off unless I hit 1 to sort it out. Definitely a SCAM! I reported it to BT straight away and blocked the number. This kind of thing could really scare older or more vulnerable folks, so watch out!

Got loads of calls from someone sayin I needed to link up my computer for internet problems, sounded like a scam. They kept ringing until my broadband company switched my number. Pretty annoying situation.

I tried to get in touch with Vodaphone to file a complaint, but their so called AI chat was useless. It was more like a bot pushing products to buy rather than helping with the issue. Vodaphone really need to hire some tech savvy staff who actually understand the problems.

I got a weird call from a number starting with 020 3129, sounded like someone from Microsoft at first, but then they said they'd connect me to Apple support. The guy on the line had an Asian accent and told me my computer had been hacked and was being used for dodgy stuff, so I had to get some upgrade done fast or my system would be blocked. If you want to know more, try searching for 020 3129 3251, loads of people talk about it online.

Got a call from an Asian guy claiming I was owed £149 back. He said he didn’t want my bank info but needed to verify my Visa details to "refund" the money. Kinda spooky that he already knew my full name and where I live! I wasn’t falling for it and told him straight up he was a scammer before hanging up. Then they had the nerve to ring me again on this number! The first call came through from 07958512248.

It was some sort of robocall saying my internet was involved in illegal stuff and BT was going to cut it off!
But I’ve never even had BT broadband!
Tried pressing 1 twice to chat with them and call them out as scammers, but all I heard was a bit of foreign gibberish before it hung up.

I was visiting my 90yo dad when the phone rang, so I picked it up for him. The caller, who said his name was "Melvin" and sounded like he wasn’t local, started by wishing me a nice day and claimed he was ringing from BT about my broadband. I just said "Thanks, Melvin. Goodbye." and hung up sharpish. What can be done to catch these scammers? Honestly, I’d love to see a programme that exposes them properly, with their names on display and maybe a bit of public humiliation - like having them locked up in stocks for a good old rotten egg tossing!
