Got a call from a mobile number that sounded like a call centre from India, there was a lot of background noise. The guy spoke with a strong Indian accent and claimed he was calling from Sky. He asked what I’m paying monthly and said he could slash my bill by 30% - sounded too good to be true! I actually work for Sky and know they don’t just call randomly offering massive discounts, especially since I get my service free as an employee. Had a bit of fun stringing him along until he said he had to hang up. Then I blocked the number and logged it here so others don’t fall for this scam.
