Got a call saying some money had been taken from my Visa and I was told to press 1 if I didn’t make the transaction. Obviously, I hadn’t, so I just ended the call straight away. Total scam.

I rang the number back and they wouldn't admit to ringing me, but they also wouldn’t share any info. I heard loads of noise in the background, like a hectic call centre or something. Honestly, just block this number if you want to keep your peace of mind.

Got a call claiming to be from Amazon Prime trying to take £79 out of my bank. Voice was automated, telling me to press 1. Total rip-off!
