On the 5th of April 2025, this number rang me up, attempting to scam me out of my Amazon login info, bank details and even my IP address. The voices sounded Indian with thick accents. Right away, I contacted my bank, reported it to Amazon’s fraud team, and also alerted Action Fraud. Around the same time, Amazon sent me an email warning that someone from an IP in West Bengal tried to buy stuff using my account. Quite a dodgy experience!
