Our home phone rang and it was a bloke with an accent I couldn’t place, claiming there was an Amazon Prime subscription set up last night costing us £7.99 each month. He tried to get me to verify my phone number, but I refused. As soon as I said we don’t even have an Amazon account, he just hung up. Definitely seemed fishy to me.
