I got a call from someone claiming to be from the fraud department saying there’d been attempts to use my bank account illegally. They knew which bank I used and even asked me to confirm the branch. When I asked them to explain more, the caller got really annoyed and accused me of being the scammer, then just ended the call. I rang the real fraud team afterwards and they told me there was nothing suspicious with my account and that the number I was called from wasn’t one of theirs.
