Complete rip off, nothing genuine about it.

Got a message pretending to be from Halifax saying a new payee was added from some unknown gadget. Normally, Halifax includes part of your bank account number in their texts, but this one didn’t, and the link led to some dodgy site called [#]online-checkpayee[###]. I rang Halifax using the number from their official website and they confirmed nothing had changed on my account. So yeah, definitely a scam to watch out for!
