I got a call from someone pretending to be HMRC, with an automated voice saying I'd be arrested straight away for tax evasion unless I hit 1 to talk to an agent. But real HMRC never explain why they're ringing till they've confirmed who you are and you’re actually talking to a live person, not a robot. Total scam.
