Got a text saying: HSBC noticed a payment try from a brand new gadget on 03/11/20. If that wasn’t me, they told me to quickly log in at [#]verify-newpayee[###]/hsbc to stop it right away. Odd thing is, I don’t even have an HSBC account! Clearly some scammers at work!

Got a text from 'HSBC' about a suspicious payment and there was a link to click on. I don't even bank with HSBC, so I reckon it's just a phishing scam.
