Got a call from someone saying they were with “Halifax,” but they were making loads of dodgy claims about my bank stuff. Really felt like a sketchy call, not someone you can trust at all. Stay careful with these kinds of callers.

Got a text supposedly from Halifax about a new direct debit to Citigroup Limited. It had a link to click if I didn’t authorise it. Definitely a scam, as I don’t even hold any Halifax accounts. Better to be careful with these dodgy messages.

they said they were calling from halifax about some direct debit with citigroup, but the link they sent looked totally phishy. defo a scam try.

I never actually arranged a direct debit with Halifax, but suddenly they had my name, my mobile number, and even my bank details. No idea how they managed to get all that, must be some dodgy phishing scam going around. Proper nasty people behind it, that's for sure.
